“I have a strong background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. My creative passion and love for antiquities and historical evolution in lifestyle became the foundation of my career in this trade. My passion for history, environment and nature bleeds into my creative vision most of the time; that being said, I always check myself to ensure my designs/decor projects are entirely the client’s dreams and wants(needs). I have a strong notion that no matter our ideals, at the end of the day we are designing for our clients.”
Q&A with Lavanya:1. What three words best describe you? Hardworking, Creative, Seeker. 2. What’s your favourite way to waste time? Reading (like a lot). 3. What have you created that you are most proud of? My daughters 🙂 4. If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time? Research and learn anything and everything I can. 5. What is the craziest, most outrageous thing you want to achieve? An Island home that I designed/decorated for myself where I can enjoy my cup of tea in nature. 6. Who inspires you to be better? My daughters and my husband. My role model in the trade though is Elsie De Wolfe. 7. Advice you live by? Success is a journey that never ends.
