Winners were announced during the 2020 DDA Annual General Meeting and Awards where industry peers came together virtually. Now in its 26th year, DDA’s annual competition serves to inspire Canadians by showcasing the most outstanding projects of the past year. “The decorating and design landscape in Canada is richly diverse in terms of talent, business acumen, and professional services. These awards allow the winners to be recognized by industry experts and peers for their creativity, professionalism, and dedication to their craft.” says Robin Boles, incoming Chair of the DDA Awards Committee. “Our national award winners range from first-time-award newbies to established multi-award-winners – each of them should be immensely proud of their hard work and accomplishment.” Gold, silver, and bronze medal winners in 14 categories were selected by industry leaders from across Canada. The submissions are evaluated based on complexity, concept, materials, functionality and more.
